I follow a pretty basic brownie recipe theres nothing new or fancy about it.
However they are the gooeyest yummiest ones around with a little crunch on the top.

275g Plain chocolate
85g Milk chocolate cut into large chunks
85g White chocolate cut into large chunks
175g Plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
325g Caster sugar
4 large eggs - lightly beaten
1 tsp Vanilla essence
325g Caster sugar
275g Unsalted butter
1 tsp Vanilla essence
Flaked almonds and chocolate powder to top - If desired.
Preheat the oven to 170C.
Line a tin with lightly buttered greaseproof paper or foil.
Put the plain chocolate and butter in a large bowl, place over a pan of simmering water and melt.
Mix the flour and baking powder into a bowl.
Remove the melted chocolate from the heat and stir in the sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla essence.
Fold in the flour then chocolate chunks last.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared cake tin.
Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
*I always take them out at 20 minutes and let them cool in the tin so they stay soft and gooey.*
