DIY Shop

Oh gosh, I don't even know where to start, I feel like I've been collecting things for this shop for ages.
I guess let's go with the base.

I hummed over lots of different market stands but I loved this layout the most and it helped to be on the cheaper side of things. I wasn't a massive fan of the original art but my idea was to paint over it or create a chalkboard effect. When I was putting it together however I found you could just flip it over so you couldn't see it...which is nice for India as the inside now looks like shelves with items already on. I also ended up not making all the drawers and leaving out some shelves to give it a different variation.

If you're not a fan of DIY then here are some already made/painted options. All images are clickable and will take you straight to the item :)
Already made -

I love this rainbow by The pink moon studio, I literally move it every week because i can't decide where I want it to go. Just fits with everything ( super soft aswell )

Food-wise it was super easy to find due to the fact I had already searched the web with her IKEA kitchen.
There are so many gorgeous handmade items over on Etsy, unfortunately, a lot of them I couldn't justify the price due to shipping and customs. If you're American defo make that your first stop to check and then tag me so I can cry all week.
I'm waiting for Zuri and Jane to get a restock some of their veggies. Otherwise, if you can get your hands on Raduga Grez fruit and veg they're amazing and have had them since day dot.
I love the look of rolling up reusable bags and popping the food in there for a farm shop - esqe feel ... it also helps them not roll everywhere haha.

Of course, little hands will help with allllllll the unboxing.
While putting together these links I found these uber-cute outfits, super tempted to get one!!

I know the kitchen isn't part of the shop but I set it up so she can play and it all fits around her rather than feel disjointed. So here are some links if you're interested in the kitchen set up we have.

Cute rugs that work well in play areas. Super easy to clean. This one has already been in our washing machine. Kids, hey.

The second favorite item I found had to be the till. Again I thought this would have to be a DIY with a second hand one on eBay but it was all looking really expensive and I wasn't sure how I would pull the paint job off. Etsy came to my rescue however with this cutie, the shop that stocks it has a few items I will probably invest in for birthday and Christmas presents like the play phone or scales.

I had this sign custom made over on Etsy, it came within the week!

Baskets storage ideas. A lot of mine I've had for a few years.

Lastly. My favorite item EVER. The rattan trolley from Design Life Kids.
You can preorder it now.
It's definitely the showstopper. We've even taken it to a few farm shops, which got loads of smiles and coes. I think it's nice to have a push toy that's a little different and useable in real life.

I've swapped a lot round since taking these pictures and now I look at it and think OMG ITS SO CLUTTERED, but if I didn't post it now I don't think I ever would so keep an eye out on updated pictures and how versatile it is as I'm swapping the set for a coffee shop this week!
