The Earl Of March

Okay before i start dribbling on about how food porn the food actually is... we need to discuss service. Service is one of my main issues when it comes to eating out. I don't know why people find it hard to be nice humans but you always get one in a blue moon that can ruin your whole experience. This however would never be the case at The Earl Of March. My god as soon as you walk in to the country pub you could feel the heart and soul of each of the workers. Heck it even made me want to work there!
I think people would lead with the fact that Giles Thompson was the former executive head chef at the ritz hotel, London. Honestly it is not needed. What they have done as a team is incredible. I never thought i would sit at a table and have a cross between a family meal but yet a dining experience. I can't quite put it in to words but trust me i was beaming for the rest of the day. That could of been the euphoric chocolate brownie though.
They have won two awards already this year - The Sussex food and drink award and The Spirit Fm food awards. You will see why trust me!

Lets face it. I'm not a foodie blogger but mannn i do like my food and i know when something tastes great. I am however a Instagramer. So when i am able to go somewhere where the food actually matches the look in taste ... let alone after the 5 minutes it's taken to get the perfect shot i am a very happy girl.

Lets make you all dribble then ( sorry if your hungry ) ...

Terrine “Maison” of Duck, Pistachios, Truffled Field Mushrooms, The Earl’s Relish, Cornichons, Crostini  -

Soft Poached Hallgate Farm Duck Egg, Wild Garlic, Asparagus Maple Jelly -

Stansted Park Venison, Morel Mushroom, Red Cabbage, Local Sea Herbs, Poached Peach and Salsify-

Triple Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Sauce, Toffee & Honeycomb Ice Cream-

Every single dish had different tones and textures that melded in to one 'mmm' moment.

I feel like a Marks and Spencers advert by saying this isn't just any pub but it really isn't. Where ever you are in England the South is always a beautiful place to visit and trust me this place will keep you coming back like it has us.

We already have the next visit in our diaries.

Ps. I know our meal looks very meat heavy but they do offer vegan and vegetarian options!
